When I first met Janet, I was broken, empty, lost, hopeless and confused. I had just left an abusive marriage and had no idea how to navigate the emotions and pain that I was experiencing. Janet showed me where to start; then she gently took me by the hand and led me along the pathway of healing and hope. She helped me discover who I am in my Father’s eyes and her own love and deep devotion to her Savior is both contagious and inspiring. She is wonderfully skilled at leading broken people back into correct relationship with their Savior.

Janet is not only well-educated and knowledgeable in every aspect of the Bible, but she knows exactly how to apply it to your life…I highly recommend Janet as an outstanding presenter… God is using her in such a tremendous way, and any individual or group who comes in contact with her will quickly know it.

Janet’s presentation is one of the best I have heard on the subject of Intimacy with God. The structure allows each of us to see this intimacy as a joyful, attainable reality and not just a lofty goal.

The Lord Jesus has had me on a journey over the last several years to give up the ‘idols’ in my life and have a more intimate, abiding relationship with Him. Your book helped me realize the signs, (impatience, frustration at small inconveniences, etc.) were indicators that the biggest idol in my life was my self-centeredness. I have confessed this to the Lord and am confident He will continue to dismantle the ‘idol factory’ in my heart.
